Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Senior Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that support the organization’s business operations and long-term strategy. They work across teams to ensure infrastructure components—including hardware, cloud services, and network systems—are integrated, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to align infrastructure designs with business requirements and architectural standards.
  • Design infrastructure solutions covering cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments that ensure performance, availability, and security.
  • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Support the deployment and integration of infrastructure components, working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Contribute to ensuring infrastructure solutions meet disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging infrastructure technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept and pilot implementations.
  • Provide architectural guidance during infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting phases.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer/IT Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT Management, or related fields.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Design or Architecture.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as System Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer, especially in large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
    • Strong knowledge in:
      • Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
      • Middleware and Database (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, SQL and NoSQL, etc.)
      • Microservices Architecture and Container Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
      • Server technologies (Intel-based, Bare-Metal, Virtualization, Cloud)
      • Network and Security fundamentals
    • Familiar with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, IT Governance, and compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
    • Good command of English (for coordination with vendors and partners).

     

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Hybrid Cloud or Private Cloud architecture.
    • Familiar with Automation / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
    • Background in IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL) process understanding.

    Experience in banking or critical mission environments is a plus.
